# Function: heroRules()

> **heroRules**(`prefix?`): `string`

Beta

Build the hero layout CSS (doc comment + rules), substituting `prefix` for the `pfx-` sentinel.
Defaults to `"instui-"` for the shipped stylesheet; pass `""` for an unprefixed build.

## Parameters

### prefix?

`string` = `"instui-"`

## Returns

`string`
