# Function: deprecationShims()

Create the deprecation-shim plugin from a ledger.

## Parameters

### ledger

`DeprecationLedger`

The `DeprecationLedger` (e.g. `formats/tokens/deprecations.json`).

## Returns

[`PantokenPlugin`](../../../../../packages/core/src/interfaces/PantokenPlugin.md)

A [PantokenPlugin](../../../../../packages/core/src/interfaces/PantokenPlugin.md) whose `tokens` hook appends one shim per entry.
