# Function: initResponsiveOverlay()

> **initResponsiveOverlay**(`host`, `onCommand`): `void`

Wire open/close commands plus width-based responsive overlay switching onto a host: any
collapsible side panel (e.g. a drawer's tray) can import this interaction rather than each
component reimplementing it.

## Parameters
